1 ½ year old Emarati child wins the Mercedes Benz S Class at Al Ghurair City

Dubai, October 26th, 2007: Al Ghurair City, the first shopping mall in the Middle East, has announced the winners of their exciting Ramadan promotions.

During the holy month, shoppers were given the opportunity to take home 2 latest Mercedes Benz S Class and C Class luxurious cars by spending Dhs 200 at the mall to take part in the lucky draw. The lucky winners were announced yesterday evening at Al Ghurair City.

The Mercedes Benz S Class owner will possibly be its youngest ever. Ghala is only 18 months and is a UAE national. Her mother Mrs. Abdullah had been to Al Ghurair City during Eid and had written down the names of her four children to enter the draw.

“I spent a lot of time shopping during Eid buying gifts for the family. We actually spend a lot of time there as I feel that Al Ghurair City is very family oriented. When I received a call the other day about the car, I was so surprised that my youngest child had won a Mercedes! It is the first time the family has ever won anything and it is all because of Ghala!” said Mrs. Abdullah.

The Mercedes C Class was won by Rufino F Canlas, a Filipino expatriate living in Dubai. Mr. Canlas is a regular at Al Ghurair City and had just been shopping recently. “I received a call this morning at 11 and could not believe it! I am so excited and I cannot wait to see the car with my own eyes! I am going to take my wife to Fujeirah to celebrate! ” said Mr. Canlas.

During the holy month of Ramadan, the mall offered an exciting range of activities that delighted all of their shoppers regardless of age and culture. The Mercedes raffle draw is the last of these wonderful promotions.
