  • Al Ghurair City continues to offer unbeatable offers this Ramadan

    Dubai, 4th October 2007: Retailers at Al Ghurair City have announced further promotions this Ramadan to satisfy the growing number of visitors during the holy month. Al Ghurair City offers a wide range of exciting events such as the Khalil and Demneh story telling event, original puppet shows and exciting raffle draws as part of the season’s festivities.

    Retail outlets available at Al Ghurair City include a range of popular brands such as Mexx, Plug Ins Electronics, Jashanmal, Paris Gallery, Esprit and Guess to name just a few; have also introduced exciting promotions to further target their diverse clientele.

    The various activities and promotions taking place have contributed considerably to the increase of footfall and revenue.

    Mr. Aslam, Marketing Manager for Paris Gallery said: “Ramadan has proved to be more successful in comparison to other months of the year. The festive atmosphere and the extensive promotions have certainly contributed to this increase.

    In addition, retailers expect a stronger increase in the last days of Ramadan in the built up for Eid. Mr. Mohammed, Brand Manager for the popular leather accessory chain Aldo said: “In the last ten days of Ramadan, our sales increase and are usually the highest of the season, especially during Eid as families come out to celebrate.”

    Mr. Salem Al Ghurair, Chief Executive Officer of Al Ghurair City added: “In the first half of Ramadan, we experienced an increase in the number of visitors and an increase in revenue. The activities taking place at the mall cater to families but also to individual shoppers. Promotions and bargains have considerably contributed to heavier traffic. These deals will become varied and competitive as Eid approaches. We expect the numbers to increase further contributing to another successful year”
